We loved everything about the property. The property has (3) first-floor bedrooms to the right and (1) to the left with a large open-concept bedroom on the second floor. All bedrooms had a bathroom and there was a powder room on the second floor The property's location and condition were fabulous. The management communication was great, not too much and not too little. The views are stunning. Great place for a family gathering!<br/><br/>

Dream house on the beach front perfect for families<br/>If we stayed at the Hyatt with Ocean View Rooms it would have cost us 50% more. This house, Hale Ohana, was perfect for my entire family of 9! The gardener told us this is the best rental property on Kauai! Beach front with a huge grass lawn between our lanai and the ocean. Steps from Baby Beach where we saw turtles on the sand several afternoons and even a rare Monk Seal! The bedrooms were perfect! The kitchen was well equipped and spotless! The House had TVs where you would want them although you will most likely not be watching! We enjoyed our meals on the lanai daily at sunset with food from many great restaurants in Koloa to bring in from! (Bubba Burgers a must and Leong&#x2019;s) Croquet and Bochi Ball on the lawn with the grandkids was magical, as was throwing the frisbee! We were in awe of this property, its location and incredible sunset views every night! And a nightly view of the Spouting Horn blowhole in the distance! We walked to the Beach House for dinner. Less than 10 minutes. The weather was perfect with an occasional passing shower that would result in rainbows almost every day. On my birthday me and the grandkids were playing on the lawn on my birthday morning when the most o incredible double rainbow came out and said &#x201C;Happy Birthday, Grandpa, you picked the perfect place!&#x201D;

There were 4 couples who stayed at this beautifully appointed home. We had seen the pictures, but actually BEING right on the beach was spectacular. Evenings on the wide lanai were so pleasant. The house met all our expectations with the exception of AC in the living areas. But we weee grateful for the AC in each downstairs bedroom. One couple came home after dinner the final night to the smell of gasoline all around the vehicle. A stick or something had punctured the gas tank. The next morning they had to deal with rescheduling their flight home and arranging for a car. Management was gracious and allowed them to remain at the house well after checkout time. We experienced the true meaning of Aloha.

The home was amazing. The property was even better... the views the best! You don't even have to leave the house- Baby Beach was perfect, the snorkeling there was incredible: sea turtles everyday, dolphins, seals: oh my! I will go back as many times as I can!

Without a doubt, Hale Ohana is the best vacation rental on Kauai. This home has every feature that a family could possibly want or need to make their vacation the absolute best. every bedroom has its own bathroom and its own lanai. The family lanai overlooks the ocean and is a great place for the family to enjoy meals and just lounging around. The beach is great for kids, The kitchen has everything that a kitchen should have to prepare all of your meals. There is also an outside barbeque. This is the second time our family has spent our vacation in this wonderful home. If you decide to rent this home, take some time to find 0out about the over 100 year history of the family that ows the property.

Loved the views from the lanai! We miss it already. The layout of the home worked great for our family. We had to block off the stairs since we have little ones but they loved running around on the front lawn area! Great property!

After sundown with the lights on, you still needed a flashlight.<br/>Also, one of the lamps in the living room had a wobbly (*broken) shade support. As we understand the cabinets will be upgraded on our return in 2024.

The house was more in every way than we expected. The location right on the water was so relaxing and beautiful it took our breath away. The house was also clean and well stocked with essentials. Every bedroom had access to the wonderful covered porch that wrapped around 3/4ths of the house. We also loved having our own little beach so close to the house. All in all, we can&#x2019;t recommend this house enough.

Ive stayed at the Hale Ohana (as well as the other houses) numerous times, and always always come home feeling wonderful. The houses are immaculate, bright and cheery, they sit right on the beach so the kids (and Grandkids) can just roll out of bed and into the water (pretty much!). The management company has kept the houses fantastically and the cleaners do an excellent job! Hands down the ONLY place we will stay when we come to beautiful Kauai !!

First off, the cleaning was the best I've seen since Covid! I can even tell they sanitized the refrigerator and when we were vacating, they were carrying in replacement pillows! The AC in the bedrooms definitely made our stay comfortable but all our time was spent on the lanai soaking in the scenery. The sunsets were fabulous. We even had a view of the spouting horn! I also loved being on the beach so we could access at our leisure. Garden Island was quick to respond and checked on us throughout our stay. Definitely customer friendly and would book with them in the future.

We have stayed in Hale Ohana many times and it never disappoints! This beautiful home is perfect for both families with kiddos and couples. Each bedroom has its own bathroom and beautiful ocean view. The kitchen is well equipped and living areas are very comfortable. The lanai is the place to be! You can&#x2019;t beat the view...from sun up to sun down, the scenery is ever changing and mesmerizing. A true piece of paradise!

We had a fantastic stay at Hale Obama. It was perfect for 5 couples to each have their own space. The ocean front balcony was great for all our meals. The only thing I would say is the furnishings are a bit dated/worn but overall a great stay and would recommend it to all.

This home exceeded expectations. The privacy, quiet and views are incredible. The home was perfect for all 8 of us including 2 mother in laws. The ac units in each bedroom helped us all sleep like babies. BBQ&#x2019;s on the back deck and family meetings on the lanai listening to the waves crash will be memories we will always remember. The home is well stocked with everything you need to cook and clean up after yourselves. We loved the beach chairs, snorkel gear & beach towels. Communication with GIR was excellent and I plan on booking this spot again in the future. Thank you for hosting such an amazing experience!

We absolutely loved this house! The covered porch was where we spent most our time, when we were on a beach or adventure. The sunsets were beautiful and the sound of the ocean was so serene! I appreciated the well stocked ammentities, including kitchen tools and dishes, beach towels, beach chairs, umbrellas and snorkeling gear. Although this house is in a neighborhood, it is totally private when you are on the property. The only small disappointment for us was the lack of swimming area on baby beach. This beach is perfect for families with toddles and small children. However, our group really likes swimming, snorkeling and bogie boarding, so the water here is too shallow for those activities. The good news is, this place is less than 5 minutes from Shipwreck beach and Brenneke's beach where we had a blast with those activities. We even swam with many turtles at Brenneke's beach! The location is convenient to restaurants, shopping and lots of great beaches.

Right on Baby Beach which is a protected cove and great for splashing and snorkeling with the kids and has lots of tidepools to explore. 5 min walk to lots of shops and restaurants and a Wed farmers market. But the best feature was the back patio which overlooked the ocean and sunset &#x2014; could have sat out there all day enjoying the view. Furniture was a little tired but still comfortable. House was well stocked with beach supplies and cookware.

We rented 3 houses, Hale Ohana, Kai and Mohana for a large family reunion. Fantastic location, all three right on baby beach with great views of the ocean. Shopping was an easy walk. Major resorts were also just down the road to grab a bite to eat or have fun on a beach with bigger waves.<br/><br/>The large lanai at Hale Ohana was great for getting everyone together for happy hour or dinner. And the kitchens were well stocked so cooking was easy.<br/><br/>Everything was clean and well supplied, even with some extras like boogie boards, beach chairs, masks and fins. <br/><br/>We would definitely recommend theses rentals.

The house was a perfect home base for our mixed-generation family to enjoy the beauty of Kuaui and our time together. The kids loved the access to baby beach and the beach toys/snorkel gear on the property. The adults adored relaxing on the lanai and enjoying the view.

This was the most amazing house in an idyllic position. Everything was as described- well appointed kitchen; everything you could possibly need. We were a group of 5 couples and the layout and bathrooms worked brilliantly with everyone very happy. We met a couple of the owners who were staying in other houses and they were sooo helpful. We would love to visit Kauai again and this is exactly where we would choose to stay. If there were a couple of surf boards or SUPs in the garage it would have been even better as renting a board was really difficult. That said we had the best time ever. The beach was perfect, the grounds amazing and the house was divine.

The home was a great base for our activities on Kauai. It was conveniently located to all south-side restaurants, beaches, golf and tourist locales. The house was well stocked with towels, beach toys, and kitchen items. It was warm during our stay so the extra fans were put to use - although 2 ceiling fans on the lanai would have helped.

The home was a great base for our activities on Kauai. It was conveniently located to all south-side restaurants, beaches, golf and tourist locales. The house was well stocked with towels, beach toys, and kitchen items. It was warm during our stay so the extra fans were put to use - although 2 ceiling fans on the lanai would have helped.

We have stayed in this beautiful home several times and it never disappoints! First, you can't beat the view. Not only does the lanai have a fantastic ocean view, but all of the bedrooms also have ocean views. The kitchen is very well stocked and has everything you need to cook your delicious Hawaiian meals. All of the bedrooms are comfortable and well appointed. Great laundry room. You can spend hours on the lanai watching the ocean and experiencing the incredible sunsets. You won't regret staying in this magnificent home!
