This home is located on Baby Beach, the perfect location for families with little ones. Gorgeous sunsets, a sandy beach, warm water, and little pools for tots to “swim” in. The house couldn’t be more accommodating- 2 bedroom suites, each with a balcony looking out on the Pacific. We saw many turtles and whales. We look forward to a return visit. This is paradise!

We have stayed at this property at least 3 times and the other homes on <br/>Baby Beach, as well.....this is our families &#x201C;go to&#x201D; very favorite vacation spot. This was our 10th or 11th stay. We come to relax and enjoy the sun and water. We live in Colorado, and we left a lot of very cold weather there. We have seen Hale Ohe' be well maintained and cared for all these years. It is just a delightful place to be. The beach is so beautiful, and the sunsets are beyond compare. This little house has everything for a quiet restful experience.

We loved this home! The floor plan was perfect for us. (Two couples)The waves and oceanfront beach access were undeniably the best assets. <br/>Turtles on the beach daily and close to restaurants and shopping. <br/>The public beach ( directly in front of the house) was very busy but we got our beach chairs out first thing to guarantee a spot right near the home. Great experience!

We arrived in the evening, so it was particularly exciting to wake up and see the ocean, that we heard, and take it all in. Several rainbows each day.<br/>The house was immaculate and kitchen well appointed.<br/>The office staff jumped right on small issue and had someone there to fix it within an hour. <br/> We will definitely be back!

Great Stay. Great location, very clean, well stocked kitchen, very efficient and responsive rental company staff. Beach area is well suited for young children (shallow) but beautiful. We opened up all windows for the nice sounds of the surf all night. Wonderful week.

Cannot get any closer to the beach than this! Location, location, location! Also, super responsive with communication. Cannot go wrong with rental. One small caveat- there is a walkway directly beside house. Resulted in vehicles parking around the property and people walking in and out. (Small annoyance compared to everything else)<br/>

The property description is totally accurate. Walking distance to many shops and restaurants. The property was clean and well stocked. We found the two weeks stay with no need for any customer service. Everything functioned and all of our needs were met from the beginning. We have recommended Garden island Rentals and friends and family have used them. The design of the house is perfect with all rooms facing the beach.

This property is a dream location. The view is every bit as awesome as the pics indicate. Love the sound of the waves lulling you to sleep each night. The home is also nicely appointed with a fully supplied kitchen. We had one minor issue with a bed not being set up properly, but the matter was quickly resolved. Overall, extremely impressed. We'd definitely choose this property again.

There aren't enough words to describe how great our stay at Hale Ohe was. The house has been updated quite a bit since the listing photos were taken. It's clean, the location can't be beat, and the house was outfitted with everything we could possibly need. Garden Island Rentals was wonderful and had great communication throughout our stay. We're already planning our next trip to Kauai and there's no place else we'd rather stay than Hale Ohe.

Hale Ohe is a perfectly situated for anyone but particularly if you&#x2019;re vacationing with children. Everything you need for the beach is right there, because you are already literally on the beach. Sunsets daily from you own front lanai.

You cannot beat the location and views from Hale Ohe! The pictures do not do the views justice and the property has had some interior upgrades since the online photos were taken. Having been to Kauai many times, this is the best location we have had and has raised the bar for what to expect on future visits. Walkable to the Beach House restaurant and the Kukuiula shops and restaurants add to the benefits of the location. Will definitely be our preferred location for future visits.

Six of us spent 12 very relaxing, fun days here. The location can't be beat, especially if you have children with you -- you are literally on the beach. We spent a lot of time dining on the deck, staring at the ocean, spying sealife. Baby Beach is aptly named, perfect for small children, and we did see a lot of sealife, including turtles, as we snorkeled along the rocks (the snorkeling area next to the Beach House restaurant an easy few blocks away is even better!). For easy access swimming, you'll want to go elsewhere. The house is well stocked, bed are very comfortable. Better kitchen knives would be a big plus. It does sleep 6, but 6 adults/older teens would be difficult privacy wise. Really, you rent this place for the location and we were very, very happy with our stay.

This home has it all - spacious rooms, location on the beach, sunset views and night sky gazing. Two bedrooms each have a lanai and there is a lanai downstairs off the living room and kitchen. The kitchen is large with all the cooking utensils and equipment you'll need. My only minor gripe was that the soap dispensers in the showers had no body wash and only a tiny amount of shampoo. The downstairs shower had no dispenser. We did find large opened bottles of shampoo under the sink though. We just bought our own soap and shampoo when we got groceries so not too big of a deal. Also, no dishwasher detergent. We would have appreciated a few more towels too. Having a washer and dryer was such a help, it allowed us to pack fairly light. We probably could've asked the office for the extra supplies, but we just thought it was easier to get our own stuff. Loved staying here and highly recommend it!

Hale Ohe was FANTASTIC! We chose this property to accommodate a variety of interests in our travel party, and it did not disappoint. Some of us wanted to enjoy the beach daily in Kauai, while others aren't really "beach people", so this house provided the best of both worlds. Some in our party spent all day on the beach, while others stayed in the shade on the lanai, only feet away, and we could still be together. It was wonderful! The house was well appointed and had everything we needed for a fantastic week. We were pleasantly surprised by the variety of cooking implements, and we really enjoyed the beach chairs and umbrella. Although the house is not air conditioned, we never missed it. There are so many windows and doors to open, letting in the cool breeze from the ocean and keeping the house cool day and night. There is amazing snorkeling right off baby beach - it's like a tropical fish tank! And we loved the unobstructed view of the stars from the upper lanais every night. We're already planning for another visit in the future to our "Kauai Home."

Great relaxing time. We've been coming to the Island for 15 years and this was the best place we have stayed. We just hung out and relaxed and enjoyed the beauty and nature around us we didn't have to run around the Island because this place had everything we needed a comfortable home with all the amenities and right on the beach what more could you ask for. We appreciate how we were treated by Jenny at Garden Island Rentals during the difficult frustrating times during the Covid shutdown, she was awesome to work with. Ready to book our next stay.

When booking this home is said beach front but I had low expectations because I have been disappointed in the past from online bookings. But, Wow this one did not disappoint! We absolutely loved the location! We slept with the windows open and could listen to the ocean all night. The home was well stocked and had very nice beach towels and chairs to use. The home is walking distance to several restaurants and shopping. We would definitely stay here again.

Hale Ohe was a marvelous escape from the Covid world. My trip from Vermont was capped at this house on Baby Beach. Local Ohana slipped in and out for family time and shared meals. Everything we needed was there, close to market and restaurants, had a large lanai and was right there on the beach. This will be my &#x201C;go to&#x201D; place in the future. Thank you so much.

We love this location! We visit here once a year and are always excited to come back. We had one minor incident that needed property management assistance and GRI&#x2019;s response was almost immediate and very friendly. If you want a Hawaiian island, beach house experience, this is the place!

You can&#x2019;t beat this location. It is a beautiful spot right on Baby Beach. We loved watching the sunset each evening and enjoying coffee each morning on the lanai. There are views of the ocean from every room and decks. The home is tastefully furnished. Strong Wi-Fi connection that allowed us to work remotely. This is a great value for the money, especially compared to other properties where we have stayed

We loved staying at Hale Ohe. It was so perfect for our family of 6. The location can not be beat. It is right on Baby Beach. The mornings offer a empty beach which is so peaceful. The house has plenty of room and everything you could need. It was very humid and hot while we were there but with the windows open it wasn't too bad during the day. Night time was cool and they have fans if you need them. Would definitely stay here again!

We have stayed at Hale Ohe 4 times and absolutely love the location and the house is perfect....excellent facilities for couples as it has two separate master bedrooms on different levels.....privacy... and it is well equipped with all you need to enjoy the house and the beach. Also, walking distance to shipping mall with terrific restaurants and other lovely shops. A great area for walking, as well.

We absolutely love Hale Ohe. This was our 4th visit and we will be back again next year! You cannot match the location anywhere, and I love staying in a home that has been in the same family for generations.

Wonderful stay. Perfect location for exploring south island. Beautiful sunsets. Home was very comfortable with all the amenities. Would have liked snorkel gear.
